I have a friend who recently took NCLEX and she says as soon as she got past the tutorial she immediately wrote down all the lab values she could remember and maslows on her white board. Is this allowed? I mean, she didn’t get in trouble but I wonder if she just got lucky.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I’ve already taken NCLEX but I was curious.

At most testing sites, the test proctor would always ask you to leave the scratch paper they gave you, or hand it in as you are leaving the room. So I don't know!

What is better online NCLEX prep course or in person?

what do you guys recommend, uworld, Kaplan or what? I just feel I don’t have everything to cover the material. ( everything I must know in order to pass the test).

Hi! I can only say for Uworld bec. it was the only one I used. it is exactly like the NCLEX exam format but u have to use it wisely bec. it’s an expensive subscription I even renewed two more mos. even. (took the 90 day first)

long story short I will not use it as prep for my second try. I got books I bought online. I plan to study them before I will enrol in-class review outside australia with Rachel Allen review for answering strategy etc . this will be in June nxt yr. hopefully. I have to apply annual leave from my aged care work ... not being an RN in a hospital is a disadvantage for me. ?

I hav no background in maternity at all and I got lots of questions about it in the actual exam. . maternity is a whole other degree here down under.

the Saunders book hasn't arrived tet after two mos suncw I ordered... but it’s coming . this time I really enjoyed studying .

Okay, so IDK if you still need this information or not, but here it goes. I utilized Kaplan and slightly used Lipincott. I've always been sworn by UWorld, but my thing is, Kaplan guarantees you to pass or you get your money back. IMO I would only go with Kaplan ?

They say it’s not excepted. However, I did that to and didn’t get into trouble.

U-World is exceptional and it’s harder then the NCLEX

I took my NCLEX today and I still have like a week of UWorld left. If anyone wants the access let me know
