I'm a new grad. and will be taking the state board soon. I saw a lot of success stories for first time passes. That's great. Any advice, suggestions on preparing for this big test?
i took the boards more than 2 years ago, thank goodness i passed the fist time. i can't agree more with other posters, saunders is the best book out there imo. test questions looked so much like the boards it wasn't funny! i also took a class with june cochran which my hospital paid for, i surmise she travels all over the place helping nursing grads...excellent strategies and funny captivating true tales of nursing as a bonus!
ps. i am not one to ask others to pray for me. however, i did not hesitate to ask and you know what, it not only helped me but i noticed on test day the prayer wave helped everyone who took the test besides myself. it took humbling myself but it was definitely worth the asking!
I had much prayer for when I took the Hesi the 2nd time, and I blew that test out the water. I will definately be soliciting request for prayer for the Nclex. I only want to do this one time. I know you are definately thankful for those prayers!
