I will graduate in May, 05 and I am concerned about NCLEX. It is very confusing when trying to select a review course. Please offer tips and what courses or texts you have found to be most helpful. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have found Kaplan to be great on teaching strategies to answer the questions, and Saunder's is good for reviewing information. Hope this helps. A lot of graduates have invested in the Kaplan review course which I hear is excellent. Hope this helps:) . Good Luck!

KAPLAN!
It is costly ($400) but well worth it.
I'm kind of mad b/c some of my students got a group together, called Kaplan, and got like $100 off!!! (for being w/a group!) Too bad I missed out on that one!
The thing with Kaplan is, it teaches you HOW to answer the NCLEX questions. It also reviews topics that are most frequently tested on the NCLEX (some stuff you didn't even COVER in nursing school). The most frequently tested meds, etc. That way you don't feel you have to review 2 years of RN school!
Good luck! I take my boards 2/17/05
Thanks and Good Luck!
