I took my NCLEX last Saturday 9/5 at 2 pm, during Labor day weekend. The computer shuts off at 60. I had 15ish SATA, 2 drag/drop, 1 exhibit, then multiple choices (prioritization, delegation, pharm, maternity, labs). No EKG, no math, no photos, and no audio questions. I was confident and calm after the exam since this wasn't my first time taking it. Also, in my past exams, I had more than 75 Qs and failed. I did not cry after this last exam because I felt really different about it.
I don't want to do the PVT and Quick results ( super scared) I think I rather wait for my name to show up on the website. I know its a long weekend and we are in the middle of the pandemic, I don't know when do I get the results. I've been reading many forums and watching Youtube bout the NCLEX results (the COVID edition), which helps with my anxiety.
I'm trying to be positive and hopeful about the results of my exam, but its NCLEX anything is possible. I don't want to fail again and I think my application expires already.
Did any of you take the NCLEX this weekend? any results? how long is the wait? I also want to hear some of your NCLEX experiences if some of you passed or failed when the computer shuts off at 60. And tell me bout the stats of your questions look like.
Thanks for reading my post, sorry I can't sleep so I decided to create an account and write a post. Have a wonderful evening.

Hey I took my exam on Friday 9/4 at 6 PM. I received my quick results on Sunday at 3 PM... so less than 48 hours later. My exam shut off at 60 questions. I had maybe 10-15 SATA questions, 1 picture and 1 drag and drop. No ekg, no math and no audio.
I had a bunch of pharmacology, and priority/delegation.
I honestly thought I failed, but I prayed about it and found out that I passed. good luck!
@Michellestudentnurse good morning and thanks to your response. And big CONGRATS for passing the NCLEX.
I was wondering when answering your NCLEX, do you feel that the questions we're getting harder? Were you able to decipher which were low or high-level quality questions? Can you describe your SATA questions? and did your name shows up on the BRN website with your license on Sunday also?
Sorry I had too many questions for you Michelle. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Yes and no. I would get a hard question (High level) and I could tell when I failed it because the next question that would follow was easier. So I toggled between easy and hard. My SATA questions had to do with medications, leadership and symptoms of disease processes.
my name did not show up on the BRN on Sunday. They were closed and they only update results like once a week. I’m in California if that matters.
Thank you @michelle
Well my SATA questions had to do with the plan of care/teaching and leadership. I did not get any SATA s/s or clinical manifestations of disease processes.
I did not know that they only update results once a week, thanks for sharing that. I'm also in CA. When my classmate took her NCLEX on a Monday, her name shows up on Friday and was on hold for a few days.
Another question if that's OK. Did your CA breeze app status close/expire or something after passing your NCLEX?

I took it on 9/10 at noon. I did the PVT trick and got the good pop up. I’ll do Quick Results when they’re available. I got around 12 SATA, 2 pics and the second 1/2 of the exam was way harder than the 1st half- lots of diseases I’d never heard of. No SATAs in the second half either. I finished at 60 ?s.
I was told there are no audible questions by Pearson Vue (at least at this time).
Good pop up? sounds promising. I did not do the PVT I was freaking out.
I did Quick Results two days ago, I was shaking and crying. Then I saw the word PASS... happy tears all day.
Good luck ?

Hi. I could be wrong about it only updating once a week. That is what I read in another thread. Nothing has updated on my breeze account yet. I’m going to contact them on Monday. There are people who took the exam this week, passed, and already received their license on breeze.
I took the exam Sep 10 at noon in Culver City, got the “good” pop up 2 hours later and this morning, 40 hours later, on a Saturday, I looked up my license on the BRN website and there it is! Yay CA for not dragging their feet on this ?
