It's a pretty good Nclex resourse, Detailed answers and rationales are included, as well as a glossary and detailed progress reports. Otherwise isn't actualized with the new format q's on Nclex, for that reason I also strongly recommend Saunders, it comprehensively reviews all areas of nursing, including maternity, pediatric, medical-surgical, psychiatric, and gerontologic. More than 4,000 practice questions are included in the book and CD-ROM, along with comprehensive rationales and test-taking strategies. Alternate item format questions, including fill-in-the-blank, multiple-response, and illustration questions, provide exposure to these new formats on the NCLEX-RN exam.

Actually I am studying to take the Nclex from Saunders so let see if it really works in a few months :p

Hi, NCLEX 3000 is good but there's a newer version of it that's called NCLEX 3500. This one has the new Nclex alternate item format and updated. Yes, it's a very very good program as it gives you excellent rationales on both the right and wrong answers..In my opinion, I think why Saunders is recommended is because it's organised according to Nclex format (integrated form, i.e health promotion and maintenance, safe and effective care, physiologic integrity, psychosocial integrity etc). However, this NCLEX 3500 is organized by subjects(fundamentals, med-surg, psyc, OB, Peds), so people still in school studying for a particular medsurg test would not be reading pediatrics stuff...I hope this helps

the nclex 3000 has it where I can click on differnt topics as well and only get questions from that particular area. I do alot from client needs. for some reason my instructor said to.

oops meant to say the nclex 3000 is also organized in client needs categories as well.
