NCLEX shut off at 75, help!!

Published

I took the NCLEX-RN yesterday morning. I told myself not to do the Pearson trick (PVT), because I know it may not be accurate. The test shut off at 75, and I was shocked! I did the trick once I got the email from Pearson, and I got the "good" pop up all day long. Today when I checked again it says there's a hold on my account. What does that mean? I'm so anxious! I feel like I failed. I had over 30 SATA, several med calc, 3 exhibits, several priority questions, and several medication admin and side-effects questions. I felt like I completely failed!!

Honestly I took about 3 hours to get to 75 (I was mentally freaking out during it). They had to redo my prints a few times. I also made a mistake on the white board, and I scribbled out the wrong numbers I wrote down. I had extended time (bc of test anxiety). Could any of these reasons be why? I feel so terrible...

Relax. If it shut off at 75 you more than likely passed, otherwise you would be given more and more questions until you reach the required amount of questions answered correctly.

Usually 265 questions is the limit but if anyone has to answer all 265 it doesn't Necessarily mean that. Some people are randomly given all 265 regardless if they have reached the passing cutoff. I know that's confusing but they do that to make things less predictable I guess.

I hope so! I felt like I knew nothing...Tomorrow may be the day I find out 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Yep tomorrow id look up your license on your states website ( example: Michigan.gov) And if it's active that means you passed.
