Nclex RN --very depressed

Published

Well I had given my Nclex 3rd time on March 31 ist and according to trick I did not pass. I was reading this trick thread almost everyday and I was having dreams that I would also post thread that I pass Nclex.... But can't so for. yesterday morning I started studying again but because of I cried a lot and sad, my head started aching too much that I was feeling nauseated. I did stop studying and try to rest did not work then later on I took extra strength tylenol did not work then I went outside with family did not work. Today is little bit better but sad.

My family was hoping that I would pass this nowwwww. But I don't know where to start now like A to Z. then It will take too much time and I don't have that much free time busy life with family and going to start work soon. Well, I don't know what to do. This time I was having too much hope for passing. I did study harder than before. I also want happiness in my life like others having happines by passing this world challenging exam. I don't want that people say me anything bad for not passing exam. I did pray and requested God about this exam. I was confident. Well, I can't give up but I don't want to try n try I WANT TO PASS THIS EXAMMMMMMMMMMM. GOD GIVE ME THIS AWARD OF PASSING NCLEX RN. I WOULD BE VERY THANKFUL TO U.

About exam I had 75 Qs and 2 med, multiple select about 4-5, 2 drug calulation, priority, infection control,. the exam looks easy to me this time . Exam was clear, I mean not too many turns, lights and breaks ,Like kaplan. Before the exam looks harder to me. I don't know then where went wrong. Ofcourse there were harder questions . Lets see when God will have mercy on me and give me happiness of my life.

For all those that are still studying for the NCLEX and cannot afford to purchase the books for review my suggestion is to go to your local Barnes and Noble or Borders and sit down in the cafe and use the books there. I couldn't afford to buy every single book that was recommended so I made use of the bookstores and spend about 2-3 hrs every other day.

I did not take a review class.....(couldn't afford that either) so I had to do it on my own. I liked the Exam Cram and Linda Charity book also and they are both at the bookstores listed.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE WHO IS SCHEDULE TO TAKE THE NCLEX! You can all do this....if you made it through Nursing school then this should be your last hurdle!!

I passed on my first try with 75 questions.

Very good advise. Just came home from Barnes and Nobles to browse the latest PDA by La Charity, since I can't be going back for some reason my husband decided to buy it. It now includes 5-6 new topics including infection control. The older version didn't have infection control. Anyone by my location Parma, OH, I would be willing to lend my older version of PDA.

That' so kind of you guys! All the best and I guess that' a good advice.

hmmmmmmmmmm.... my advice to all who is going to take the exam. i took my first exam april-9-2010. i had the longest 3 hrs of my life. i took the 265 questions.all i could do is try my best. during the exam..the questions keep getting harder and harder to the point where i cannot understand the question anymore...around 90 items passed. i started talking to myself and God. as if i were walking with him along the road. i never give up, cause i think most of the time i fell down while walking but i keep on gettin up to my feet. i never run, cause i believe someone is with me walking. i didnt need to rush. then i realized its almost 200, but i never back down, i try to answer the question as best as i could. i did finish the 265. but what keeps me going is my will to fight and i never feel alone. my family is away from me, i imagine taking the exam with my wife, and 2 daughter. and god walking with me. i always talk to myself. that might sound crazy but it really helps me conquer the stress inside the testing area. for all of those who took the test, they know it...so i hope this would help for those who is going to take the exam, it doesnt matter whatever you are doing, God has time for us, just give him a buzz..trust me, this works for me. after the exam, i feel bad ofcourse cause i think i failed, but i thank God cause i was given the chance to take the exam, that is enough for me. when i got home, i tried this trick and i got the good pop up "contact your Member board.....something.,it lessen my anxiety atleast..so thats it.still hoping for the best. just try your best, and never give up.Someone is always walking with you.never run. :)

ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your supporting words. Good luck to u.

great!!!!!!!!!!!! I am encouraged

no one said that this journey would be easy...we all have had our different experiences with this test...for some it ended on the first take, but for others like myself it is a continuous roller coaster of ups and downs...it may feel like it will never end...but one day it will...

allow yourself to grief and then pick yourself up and keep moving forward...never doubt yourself and never let the exam defeat you...always remember that god makes bad things happen to us, BUT he always has a GOOD reason for it...trust in him and trust in yourself to find the strength to pass this exam...

you CAN and you WILL pass this exam...

NEVER GIVE UP! you can do this! god bless you on your journey to becoming an RN =)
