  2. hey fellow filipino, dont be so hard on yourself...give yourself a few days off and then go back and study...listen, i'm 27 and i just passed the Nclex...i have no experience as well...dont let this stop u from wanting to pass the exam...give urself time and ull pass it...listen, if i can do...i'm sure ur can too...its not impossible to pass...js re-evaluate ur study plan...keep ur head up...and dont give up on this dream...god bless!
  3. congratulations! i can so relate to u! i took it 10 times as well and its been 7 years too for me of trying to pass this exam!!! i finally past this Nov 22 with 265 questions...good for u for stopping at 75...we did it! i am so happy to know i am not the only one who went through such a battle with the exam...god bless and take care! good luck with the job hunt =)
  4. i did the kaplan on demand...but i skipped the video lectures and did all the QTs and the Qbank. but before i started the kaplan on demand i finished the Lacharity book..only the first 18 chapters and dint even bother with the case studies...but i reviewed each question and read all the rationales... i had a set study schedule and studied 2-3 hrs a day...that was the only time i had..being a mother of 2 and having to manage my business... study at ur own pace...go over what u feel is ur weakness in content...and do questions everyday...be consistent, pray and you will be fine =) good luck to you and god bless..
  5. thanks everyone...all ur support really helped me get through this =)
  6. thanks! do not give up...i had to retake this test many times...and i finally passed...you can do it...every failure is a challenge...but never give in...i know how hard it can be...but believe in yourself and trust god...he has a plan for you and knows when the time is right =) good luck and god bless!
  7. my nclex journey has been a long one...and when i say long i mean really really long...i graduated in 2004 and took my first nclex exam in 2005. and every year since then i have been trying to take and pass the nclex...and this year on Nov 22 i finally did it! FINALLY!! it is possible to pass...just dont give up...to all those re-takers do not let this test put a stop to your dream of becoming a nurse...i surely dint allow it to...all those other times i took and retested and failed, was only another reason for me to get back up and face the exam...i did not give up and you shouldnt...thank god for my husband...he truly was and is my inspiration... he believed more in me the i did...he never gave up on me and kept pushing me to study and take the test...thank you lord for all the guidance and support... to all of you who are going to take the test...just be consistent in your study schedule and stick to one or two books...i used lacharity, kaplan and davis...i studied 2-3 hours everyday for 2 months...and i did 50-100 questions every day and read all the rationales...it was a long and tough road for me...having 2 girls (3 &5), and being self employed...managing the family business...my schedule was hectic...but i found time at night at 9:30pm -12midnight...to study...that was the only time i had to myself... =) but it was worth the sacrifice...now time to look for a job =) good luck to all the other people who are preparing to take the exam...you can do it and believe in yourself =) thank you to allnurses and to everyone on here...your stories of success and failures have kept me going...its good to know that i wasnt the only one having a hard time...this site really has great people who support each other sincerely =) god bless u all! and i am proud to finally say that i am an RN =) yey!
  8. i got the good pop up...js waiting for official results now...so nervous...
  9. no one said that this journey would be easy...we all have had our different experiences with this test...for some it ended on the first take, but for others like myself it is a continuous roller coaster of ups and downs...it may feel like it will never end...but one day it will... allow yourself to grief and then pick yourself up and keep moving forward...never doubt yourself and never let the exam defeat you...always remember that god makes bad things happen to us, BUT he always has a GOOD reason for it...trust in him and trust in yourself to find the strength to pass this exam... you CAN and you WILL pass this exam... NEVER GIVE UP! you can do this! god bless you on your journey to becoming an RN =)

  15. don't give up...you can do it...when you get your results just see where you dint do well and try to review its content...and make sure to take qs everyday...50-150 should be good per day... but first, take a break, you deserve it...you worked hard...so taking a week off to relax and ready yourself for your new study plan will be a good thing for you... don't let this test defeat you...you can do this and you will pass...god bless
