What do you recommend for the next 24 hours?

I used Saunders ed 5 to study.. I feel like the questions I got were very similar to how Saunders worded theirs too.. I also used ATI focused reviews on ATItesting.com (the school I graduated from use ATI, your program need a membership with them for you to join).. to me they break things down very simple to where I can easily comprehend..

@Kiwi82, I cant remember the name of the drugs given, to be honest I didnt know what they were when I saw them.. and according to my prof and this Kaplan review lady I talked to they say said it will cut off at 75 if you're doing so poorly (pretty much saying ok you dont know what youre doing, go home study and come back).. or itll cut off at 75 because youre doing so well (the computer says ok youre competent).. if youre lingering in the middle it keeps throwing questions at you (maximum 250 I blve) until it determines if youre a ye or ne..

So I got the courage to do the trick and it came back that I passed "our records indicate.. contact board of nursing.." Considering someone on this blog got the bad message annd it turned out that they actually passed Idk how to feel.. I hope this thing is accurate.. Does anyone know if theres a time limit you have to wait to do the trick? Is it immediate or a day or what? I did the trick about 2 hours after finishing the exam

So far, I have yet to hear the good pop up come up for people and not pass. I've only heard it the other way (where they get the credit card page and turns out they passed). I am sure you did well. CONGRATS :)

The first time I felt like in was weak in content and so the second time I did ati and that was strictly content and ended up doing worse. I didn't use Kaplan strategy then second time around and I thought that was my biggest problem.

I think you should use the Saunders textbook. It wil help refresh and teach all the contents.

Hey all, so OMG I took the BEAST! my appt was at 2p but I got there an hour early.. they let me sit at 1 something, like 45mins early.. but anyway, it CUT OFF at 75 questions, it took me about 2 hours to get there.. afterwards was a little survey.. im so nervous, I dont know what to think.. I didnt get any dosage cal, probably about 15 SATA, 10 meds, 1 order the list question and the rest were regular ABCD questions.. Im too nervous to do the trick, if the make a payment pop up comes im going to faint.. where im from theres a 45day wait.. if I failed i'll be so depressed, omg the thought of that makes me sad.. I really hope I passed.. I feel like i dont think I was doing THAT WELL that it cut off at 75, there were only 5 or 6 questions I was 100% certain with, the rest were educated guesses..so im thinking I failed considerig it cut off at 75 if you're doing so well or just suck.. if I decide to do the trick I'll let you all know..

cutting off at 75 most likely means u passed! congrats!!

I hope you passed :D I'm sure you did. Everyone seems to be getting SATA. I hope I pass. I'm kinda freaking out. And I don't even have my ATT yet.

You will be fine. dont stress! it will all be over before you know it!

I hope so. I didn't study here..and I finished my BSN 6 years ago. There are so many things that I don't remember. Meds here are different...I thought I knew a lot of them...but I've encountered so many that I have never heard of. I feel like buying all the books out there, you know? I'm affraid of the questions...some are so hard. I really want to pass this. I've never failed anything but I don't think I've ever taken a darn test like this one. God help me!!!!!!!

Anyone use the LaCharity? Did you feel that it was really worth it? I'm not sure if I should get it... I have the Saunders Comprehensive 5th ed.

Hello Kiwi82:

I know what you mean and this was never meant to be easy! But you did survive nursing school, you are smart! you can do this! remember to stay and think positive. Negativity wont get you anywhere!

Dont use so many resources/ books! While studying, focus on your weak areas and know your meds...common side effects, nursing interventions! Prepare as much as you can and go in wiht confidence!

you can do this!
