Hi Everyone!
Do you think the following books are a good buy? Will it help me with NCLEX style questions? I have alot of test anxiety so I need to learn how to relax as well. I do not want to take prescription drugs. I believe my anxiety and the way the questions are written confuses me. I would really love to pass this test. I can't take another failure. I also believe I need a thorough review book.

Kaplan Strategy
Prioritization, delegation and assignment strategy
New format questions
Please help me. I dislike failing! I feel like a total reject since I failed this test.
I want to feel and walk proud. I feel like I put myself and my family down.
Thank you for any advice.

Hi and welcome to the site
I have moved your post to the NCLEX forum where much has been written on what helped to pass NCLEX. I personally preferred Saunders Comprehensive review

I used Saunders 4th Edition book & cd. Good luck and just tell yourself that you WILL pass and when you start to feel those anxious feelings, just stop, take some deep breaths, and talk down the negative thoughts with positive thoughts. If you let the negative take over, it will win, DON"T let that happen. :icon_hug:You can do this, just KNOW that you'll pass. Prayin' for you!!
Thank you. I totally need to work on my anxiety as well. I go blank or just panic. I plan to take the exam in a few months. I also have a short attention span and I don't like to study for long hours like some people.

If you have a short attention span, then perhaps you should adopt a study schedule that reflects that. Most people like to use the Saunders Comprehensive Review. Whatever book or strategy you settle with, be consistent and don't give up. Good luck.
