HELP?! I'm taking my exam in 10 days. I did NCSBN averaging 70%-80% on the questions. Kaplan Qbank discouraging 60% and Uworld says I'm 88th percentile...what does that mean? I'm panicking....any advice?
I'm at 68th percentile now =(
Don't let your scores freak you out too much. A few days before I took my NCLEX I scored a 36% on a set of 30 questions from the Kaplan q bank (no, not the all SATA practice test...). I was devastated. But it was just a fluke. I passed in 75 qs and you will too! Just keep studying
I took the NCLEX on June 25 and got 89 questions. I studied by doing practice questions through ATI and Saunders online practice exams (the code came with the book). My advice is to just keep doing questions and reading the rationale until you understand the concept of each question. It seems like out of all my classmates that took it, we have each gotten mainly priority questions so really focus on which patients you would see first. I also would definitely review all the different precautions and who can room with who. I had practice questions like these and the rationale is that similar precautions can room together, but if none are similar then ask if one could pass something to the other (and if so, these pts can't be together). I only had like 3 meds, and my advice would be to review herbal medications as well (is: St. John's wort), and when focusing on meds, look up what would interact with the med, what the adverse effects are, etc. You will do awesome! Just keep practicing questions- you know all the info deep in your mind somewhere from nursing school, now its just applying it. Good luck!!
I think I failed =( I did the pearson trick and it says my account is on hold...I haven't stopped crying since yesterday....
It saying your account is on hold definitely doesn't mean you failed!! The only sure fire way to know you failed is to see it say failed!! When can you get your quick results? I have heard of people being on hold and passing. How do you feel you did?
I don't know I was so nervous that for the first part I couldn't even understand the questions....I didn't stop at 75 I know it was an odd number....and it shut off so I panicked, left and cried all day....I've worked so hard but I feel like everything I studied wasn't even there. And the ones I knew I answered wrong...I really don't know what to do? I don't wanna go through the studying again.... =,(
