So after a long grueling 2 years I am finally done with nursing school!! YAY!!! Anyhow so now I'm starting to think of ways to study. I plan to do two to three systems a day just depending on what they are and if I struggle with them. So we had a review course called Hurst. It was extremely helpful and I plan to study content from that. But my main question is one how do I best develop a studying plan? How many hours a day should I do? Can I take a day off for rest? What are the best question banks? How many questions should I do daily? Let me just say I wasn't a straight A student. I got mid 80s always and a few As here and there. Thanks for taking your time to read and possibly answer!

In my opinion, you're already contemplating a failing approach: quantity. I used one resource when I studied for the NCLEX and I made sure that I understood the rationales in that one resource. By the time I sat down for the exam, I had not even completed all three of the full-length exams provided in the book; I only did two of those and all the chapter quizzes. This is because I spent the majority of my time trying to understand how the correct and incorrect answers came to be, rather than trying to answer as many questions as I can.
In using multiple resources, you're sure to stumble across conflicting information at some point. How will you know which to believe? Anyway, this is only my opinion and what worked for me six years ago. Good luck and best wishes on the NCLEX!:)
