NCLEX-RN Study Apps?

I am trying to figure out what NCLEX book/website/phone app to purchase. I was thinking about buying the UWorld 2-year practice questions, but my dad wants me to do research before he spends that much money. Any ideas?

Online:

  • UWorld - subscribed for 1 month and renewed for another 2 weeks.

Books:

  • Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination - Edition 5
  • Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment: Practice Exercises for the NCLEX Examination - Second Edition

Use any free apps that you can, but I credit UWorld in particular with having prepared me for the breadth and variety of questions that can come up on the NCLEX. UWorld had many more different questions spread out among the different topics that are fair game. You might get shut off at 100 questions, and more than half of them could be related to pharmacology.
