NCLEX RN Scheduling

Published

Hey everyone,

I am currently studying to take the NCLEX RN. I received my ATT and checked out the dates/times available in my area and was hoping I could get some suggestions....

I was wanting to take the NCLEX the last week of June which would put me at 7 weeks of studying; however, the only available location to test is one that i was hoping i wouldn't have to go to.

I could push the exam back and take it a week later at the location and afternoon session like i wanted, putting me at 8 weeks of studying; however, this would be the week after I already have a weekend getaway planned for the 4th of July.

Therefore; I could push it back to the second week of July and get the location and time I wanted plus have the weekend to study as well.

Any suggestions? I have heard in the past that the passing rates decline the longer you wait.

Any suggestions would help! Thank you all :)

Why not go to the early date? Bad neighborhood or something? If so I could totally understand.

I wouldn't do it after a holiday weekend because you will probably be either not enjoying yourself on the trip because you're worried or tired on the day of your test.

The last date sounds the best to me - 2 weeks later isn't that bad. We're not talking about months here.
