Hi Everyone! first I want to say that after becoming familiar with allnurses.com it really is an amazing resource for students and nurses. I'm glad to know I'm not alone in my quest to officially becoming a RN.
I graduated from nursing school with my ADN in early May 2010, and I just scheduled my NCLEX-RN for June 23, 2010. I must say my anxiety level is high I do have a strong will to study and what I am doing everyday till June 23, 2010 is material review ( we got a review book on campus), I finished the Kaplan Nclex RN 2010-2011 version book and scored 75% on the practice test cd-rom and 71% on the paper test in the back of the book..not really sure how well it will predict my outcome. I also purchased an NCLEX RN book by Davis that is aligned to the new 2010 test plan, it has over 5,000 questions and I am doing about 100-150 questions per day, as I'm doing the questions I am getting plenty of them wrong..but I feel like I am learning from my mistakes and at the same time reviewing. Anyways if anyone has any helpful tips for studying for NCLEX RN your input is very much welcomed :) I will be a nervous wreck till June 23rd and two days after till I know my official results. Thanks! :redbeathe
