NCLEX RN RESULT - requirement for VISA SCREEN

Published

Hi. I've already taken and passed the NCLEX-RN (California). Im now applying for Visa Screen. I need help on how I can ask the California BON to send my NCLEX results to CGFNS International. I've tried emailing them but I get no reply. I have already submitted all the requirements needed for my Visa Screen except for my NCLEX result. Does anyone have any idea how I can request for this and how much it would cost? Please please help me. It will be so much appreciated. Thank you and Godbless you all..

And no, you don't need a cover letter. Just the Verification of License form and your payment of course. :wink2:

guys just want to ask i'm also preparing for my visa screen, if I will going to pay the $60, what is the mode of payment? bankdraft named under the california board of nursing? and is it the same mail address that the one we use in nclex application if i will going to send it?tnx

Hello kljanna. Yes you have to mail your $60 payment (bank draft) together with the verification of license form. Silver Dragon gave a link where you can find the info u need. The address is there. Please check silver dragon's previous replies and click on the link he gave.

thank u icegirl three

im sorry if im asking too many questions for this.. should i indicate in my cover letter that they will also send a separate verification for passing nclex? coz my cover letter to them only indicates that im requesting them to fill up that form of license validation.. cgfns/ichp clearly indicated to me that the validation of license form does not fulfill passing of nclex... what can i do so that CA BRN can verify that i passed nclex??

Hi borjiepie!

Read the link that was given by Silverdragon, and you're on the right tract.:)

Just fill in the form of the Request for Validation and sent them to CA BRN with the bankdraft $60. Ive done this one last year also, you dont have to put there your registration number, since we are not yet registered in CA BRN,until we are able to comply with the SSN, and that could only be possible when we are already in the States.

ren098 it's about 4-6 weeks. :-) Mine took about 4 weeks.

love2dee send the "Verification of Licensure" form together with the payment (bank draft). No you can't use credit card to pay.

thank you so much for the reply icegirl_three that was very helpful.. but i have a last question.. i know i read this already here in the thread but i just wanna make sure again.. i don't have to include a cover letter for this right? just the verification form and the fee? am i right? then they (CA BRN) already know what we meant for our license verification? thank you so much for helping me out.. God bless..

@ love2dee: no you don't need to send a cover letter. Just the Verification of License form and the fee (bankdraft). They already know what to do with that. But if you're still in doubt, you can include a cover letter. No harm. It will just cost you a little extra effort but it really isn't necessary. Please also take note that if you are sending the documents from another country (out of US), just make sure that you send them to BON's physical address NOT the P.O box address, as the courier service would not accept this. Hope this helps. :-)

oh my... i already sent it yesterday icegirl_three and used their p.o. box address... what will i do? will it be returned to me?
