I got my associates degree through Ashwood University. The TN bon said it's not an accredited school, however the school says it is accredited by board of online universities accreditation and world online education accrediting comission. I have been an LPN for 17 years and I really want to take the nclex-rn. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this or has anyone ever experienced this before from this university...I'm at my wits end. Any advice would be helpful...Thank you.

I have never heard of those. Sounds like you will have a tough time getting permission to take NCLEX-RN with credentials/degree from that school. Many states do not recognize them..I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this, Im sure this is not what you were expecting.
To others reading this, please make sure your schools' accreditation is accepted by your state BON before enrolling.

I'm sorry to tell you that if your school is not approved by the board of nursing you will have no recourse to be able to take the NCLEX-RN. Generally the school must be approved by the board of nursing in the state where it physically is located. The accreditation you list are not the type of accreditation that are applicable to nursing and not widely accepted. You want at least regional (such as Middle States) or nursing specific accreditation such as NLNAC as these are independent organizations that accredit post secondary schools and are recognized by USDOE.
In looking at the school website a red flag would be the links to "Buy a Bachelor's Degree" or "Buy a Master's Degree" prominently located on the site. It seems you can buy an associates degree complete with educational letters of recommendation for $299. Good luck if an employer researches the 'degree'
In another thread you said you attended Ashland University in TX, Ashland University is located in Ohio. It only offers the BSN or accelerated BSN degree, since you said that you earned an associate's degree I'm going to guess that you got a degree from "Ashwood"
