Nclex-rn passed. Copy of Ssn CARD required to submit or just the number?

Good pm everyone! I passed my nclex-rn and got a letter that I need to submit a social security number.do I need to submit a copy of the ssn card or i'll just write down the number? I haven't received my ssn card yet but got my number and it's print out from the ssn office.

So again, copy of ssn card required to submit to get the rn permanent license?

How long for them to issue the permanent license?

I'll be endorsing my CA license to MS later..

What does it say on the application? Does it specifically ask you to provide a copy of your ss#? If it says provide a copy, then provide a copy. If it doesn't say to provide a copy then don't worry about it. If you have your number then write it in the space provided. As long as it's your valid ss# then you shouldn't have any problems.

Thank you! It says social security number only. Guess I'll be ok. Sent off the papaer with my marriage certificate and ssn. Got married and needed to chanGe name as well. Merry Christmas!

i'm done on that after i passed my nclex rn exam, i think i post it here. btw what i did was i made a letter including my ssn, and i print out form change name and photocopy of my marriage cert. and i fax it all.hope it helps or if your confused you can call BON

HI Aleena, thank you for your reply. I didn't know there was a change of name form. What I did was write my ssn on the " notification of passing with required ssn" my maiden name and then my complete married name with a note that it is the name I want on the license. Then a photocopy of my green card and marriage license.

What fax number did you use? I'm confused with all the phone numbers I have of brn.

How many days after you sent them the papers did your name appear on their website?

i think it took 1 week. go here for the form http://rn.ca.gov/applicants/lic-address.shtml ,and i faxed it (916) 574-7697, and i wrote in the upper left Attention: ? i forgot the name . when i called at the BON they told me to put Attention bec. there is a certain person updating ssn. i advice to call the BON. for sure.
