hey girlllll goodjob congrats........sorry its been late congrats lol been really hectic

I just graduated June 10th. Registered to take my NCLEX in Indiana this June 29th. I am reading Kaplan and Saunders questions 5th edition. I am nervous and anxious. Im not sure if I should wait longer but I just want to get it over with and be an RN. I just want to pass so bad. It was required at school to pass a Hesi exit exam with 850 or more to be able to graduate and people say that NCLEX is easier than the Hesi exit. Is that right??? Just wonder....

I'm taking my exam on June 28th... I have been studying Saunders 5th edition, Sylvia Rayfield Nclex Rn Review Audio, Feuer Nclex RN Reveiw Audio, Rayfield & Manning nursing made easy, pharm, and nursing 101 books and LaCharity Prioritization, Delegation and Assignment book...thus far I have found that both audio reviews were great along with Saunders. Also, I have been answering questions from the CD from Saunders too. Guess What I'm still in the studying mode.....Good luck with the exam

Hi I'm new to this group. I graduated May 2011 and I'm waiting for my ATT. In meantime I'm have started to study. I am currently enrolled in the Kaplan course. When I opened the course book it was so overwhelming...I closed it right away. I didn't know where to start studying. So i decided to go over my Readiness Test first... after that I realized boy do I have a lot to study.. so I decided to create a study plan... i think the course book has about 9 chapters ....i cut the pages out of the book and put them into 9 folders....this made the material less overwhelming at least for me... i put it into those folders with the things that allow you toflip through the pages. Week 1 I studied Management of Care/Infection Control from the course book, did about 350 questions from the qbank to test my knowledge, read the section in the kaplan strategies book and answered the questions, did the content on NCSBN and questions, studied the pneumonics, typed out notes for the questions i missed or something i didn't know, listened to kaplan content lecture, and did the kaplan class questions....alll that in one week....it was intense but i learned so much. Also i bought the LaCharity book but i haven't started that yet. For week 2 I plan to do the same for Health Promotion and Maintenance. I also review some meds everyweek. I hope my plan works but this NCLEX studying is so intense. I would love any tips or advice. Thank You.:nurse:

Sounds great.... content review is so important and I have learned to make sure to understand the anatomy and physiology which makes nursing interventions much easier. The LaCharity book is great especially if you have problems with this part...
