Haven't heard much mention of anyone using the ATI program. Our nursing program made that part of our ciriculum and it is by far one of the best ways to study......our program has over 90% pass rate. Anyone here using it?

U HAD, & WHAT IS THE SCORING( NEAR TO PASS, OR ABBOVE) IN AREAS ( U KNOW THEY PUT IT IN A LETTER). GOOD LUCK 2 U. WE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT!:nurse:

Thank you, your thougts and words of encouragement are all appreciated.. During the past week, i was just in so much despair and denial.. You know that feeling where there's a point in your life where the world is on you and you just wanna give up! I have recollected myself and accepted the reality.. Someone told me---there's no easy way up.. Those people who are successful didn't jusT became successful overnight.. Time and challenges makes us a better person and I know GOD is just preparing me and molding me to become a best nurse there will be..:nurse:

Anyways,I got the maximum number of questions(265) for 5.5hrs, I got 2 above passing rate, one from the pharmacology and drug calculations and the other one from risk management, 2 below and the rest near passing.. :( I know I'm close to getting my precious license.. I just gotta have to push more... I don't have any friends who I can share my thoughts with.. So maybe I might enroll myself to an online review.. I know it's very expensive, I just hope it's worth the risk.. Anyone of you can share to me which is worth the money? I am choosing between the hurst online review or Kaplan?

FRIEND OF MINE TOOK NURSING EXEL( THE MAIN OFFICE IN CHICAGO), THEY MOVE AROUND COUNTRY( 10 DAY COURSE), I'LL LET U KNOW IF SHE PASS OR NOT( SHE SHARED SOME INFO WITH ME TOO, WE'LL SEE). Hello all! I'm still anxiously awaiting for my ATT to arrive. My goal is to sit for my boards by the end of June. Right now I have been going back and forth between Kaplan and Saunders. Between listening to Kaplan's online lectures, qbank, and question trainers, plus the entire Saunder's book, I'm really overwhelmed on how to tackle the next month day by day. Does anyone have any recommendations on how they are studying everyday? Thanks so much in advance : )

HELLO ! I UNDERSTAND UR ANXIETY, ,,,,,,:uhoh3: MY ADVICE WOULD BE :STICK TO ONE STUDY COURSE. I'M PLANNING MY TEST IN THE END OF JUNE TOO. I'M DOING 75-150(4000 CD AND LACHARITY BOOK) QUEST/DAY, READING RATIONAL, AND SOME NOTES THAT I MADE BEFORE. 5 HRS /DAY. TRY TO RELAX UR MIND AND THINK POSITIVE. BEST OF LUCK.:)

I've only got two weeks left to study before my NCLEX-RN. . . and I'm not done with my Saunders comprehensive review yet (I really wanted the review since I've been away for a long time). And I've not done the case studies (2nd half of LaCharity) yet. I'm thinking though to just do questions now and skip the detailed reading. Won't I get a lot of comprehension just from the questions also? I want to spend the last 2 weeks with the best strategy. Thanks for any input you may have!

AS IN MY KNOWLEDGE MANY PEOPLE ADVICE ME TO DO LACHARITY ONLY 1ST HALF, AND SKIP THE CASE STUDY. OF COURSE IF U HAVE TIME IT'S GOOD EXPERIENCE TO CASE STUDY, BUT IF U DON'T HAVE TIME THAT'S OKAY TO SKIP THAT PART, THAT'S WHAT I'VE HEARD. AND ONE MORE THING( IT WORKS 4 ME), IT'S BETTER TO DO QUEST & READ RATIONAL , THAN JUST READ A BOOK. I READ THE HOLE SUNDERS, BUT REMEMBER REALLY LITTLE FROM THE BOOK, BUT AFTER QUEST & RATIONAL THE MATERIAL STICK IN MY MEMORY.HOPE IT HELPS(@ LEAAST A LITTLE). GOOD LUCK TO UR TEST:nurse:

two types of isolation precautions: (1) [color=#1d4994]standard precautions, which synthesize major features of earlier practices of [color=#1d4994]universal precautions and isolation of moist body substances; and (2) [color=#1d4994]transmission-based precautions, based on routes of transmission, designed to be used together with the standard precautions, divided into the three subgroups of [color=#1d4994]airborne, [color=#1d4994]droplet, and [color=#1d4994]contact precautions. these are identified for disorders associated with a high index of suspicion for infection.
