Any advise or tips .
I have a question...The nurse cares for a client receiving 50 drops of IV fluid per minute. The IV set has a drip factor 60 drops/mL. At this rate, record how many hours it will take the nurse to infuse 400ml?
What is your answer?
Convert gtt/min to ml/min.
60 gtt : 1 ml = 50 gtt : x ml
x= 0.8 ml/min
Convert ml/min to ml/hr.
60 min x 0.8 ml/min = 48 ml/hr
Calculate the infusion time by dividing the total volume to be infused by the ml/hr rate you have just obtained.
400 ml : 48 ml/hr = 8.33 hr
Multiply 60 min by the .33 hr fraction to obtain the min of infusion.
60 x . 33 = 19.8 = 20 min
The total infusion time is 8 hr 20 min
I think that the answer( plz double check the numbers, i was doing without calculator)
Here is one of the brain teasers...

2. Black cohosh is helping with my hot flashes
3. I swim three times per week
4. I like working in my garden every day
