How accurate is the Pearson Vue Trick? I tried it 3 times and its giving me a good pop-up! I hope its very accurate. So far for all my classmates had done it passed the test.
About the test, it was mind blowing. It was harder than Kaplan. I just dont know what I was doing on the time of the test. Just took my time and select the best answer pretty much. After 2.5 hrs and 75 questions, blue screen. It was very hard to concentrate during the test because of anxiety, emotions, and your mind thinking you going to pass or fail. The Kaplan tree was somewhat helpful, but it was hard to distinguish the right answer because of the hard selections. I had maybe 10-15 SATA, few pharm, couple of pics and put in order questions, lots of prioritization and delegation.
The experience was crazy overall. But I am glad its over. Just have to wait for the official result on Friday.
Thanks! I really hope its accurate! lol.
What I did was, 2 day before the exam I just relax. I almost had an anxiety attack because I tried doing questions and I couldn't do it any more. So I dropped everything, instead I drove to the testing site and see where it was. Then I went home and got to my running attire and ran to the park (by the water) and sat there for about 20 mins and relax my mind. I ran back at home and just relaxed the how day. The following day, I just relaxed as well. Played video games, etc. Anything that will take my mind off the test. It was very weird that I was so relax until I went to sleep. Then, when I woke up, thats when it hits me and anxiety started back again. I just tried to keep my composure and told myself I got this and I am an RN by this week.
You got 4 days left, I suggest keep on doing what you doing but have some rest as well. Balance it. When it come closer (1-2 days before the test), try to relax because you can't take that exam without a fresh mind. Thats my advice. I know you will do good. Trust yourself and be confident.

I'm about to take the test in 4 days (July 11). I've been studying constantly for the past 6 weeks (Kaplan course/Q-bank, Saunders, and ATI). So nervous and anxious, not knowing what to expect during the test. I probably went over about 3,000-4,000 plus questions already. Basically just preparing for the worse and hopefully I'm ready for it. I know from reading blogs here about the NCLEX and to all my classmates that passed the test said there are many SATA, pictures, pharm, infection control, and basically any topic from the book. Nothing surprising that was not gone through nursing school. I just hope Kaplan prepared me for the critical thinking (Diagnositc: 57, Q1: 54, Q2: 57, Q3: 51; Readiness: 57 [during Kaplan class]; Q4: 51, Q5: 56, Q6: 62, Q7: 61, Qbank avg: 58), and the content with Saunders and ATI.
For this last 3 days, I'm planning to just go over the content with Saunders book for content reinforcement. The last day before the test will relaxation day. I'll update this after the test...
