NCLEX-RN on Friday!

Published

I'm taking the NCLEX-RN (first time) this Friday the 1st at 2pm. I am taking QT 7 tomorrow and that's literally ALL I have left available to me to study. Any last few days studying tips or encouragement? ?Thanks!

Relax. Good luck!

Relax and believe in yourself, you got this!

Thank you! I'm trying to relax but it's a very nerve racking situation lol ;)

You'll be fine...once you answer the first question , your nervousness will subside! Good luck!

Right there with you. I take mine in 2 weeks. I'm super nervous. Everyone says "you'll be fine" I second guess myself tol

I'm the same way! Even though my Kaplan scores are good I still constantly second guess myself and think "we'll what if I just freeze and forget everything." Trying to take it easier these last few days I have left to calm myself.

Just took mine today. 75 questions, lots of SATA and priority questions that really stumped me. Got the good pop up. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be, but I did leave feeling like I failed. Good luck guys!!!

I'm fully expecting to feel like I failed it when I'm done. I've heard most people do. What did you do to study?

Not much at all. Took Hurst review twice live about 6 months apart and "glanced" over the Hurst booklet the night before in the hotel lol. I freaked out because I felt like I should have studied more, but when I started testing I felt like it wouldn't have really helped me. I think nursing school had taught me everything I needed to know. I think Hurst taught me how to test. Gave me good pointers on how to think about the options.

Oh and good luck!!! Keep me posted on how you did. I love hearing when people pass!

Thank you, I will for sure. I'm testing on a Friday so I probably won't know for sure until Monday but I should be able to do quick results Sunday. I've been doing Kaplan review that was provided by the hospital I accepted a position with and that's the only thing I've been studying so I'm hoping its enough.
