NCLEX-RN in 5 days!!!

Hi Everyone,

I like everyone else have never been so excited to get to this point only to realize that there is one examination standing in my way...The NCLEX! I was a pretty good student in class, had the highest GPA...but none of that matters now as there is only one examination that really counts in the end. I graduated in May 2018, since then I have been utilizing Uworld as my only resource of study. Our program used ATI which I never scored anything less than a level II and obtained a 98% first time pass probability on the comprehensive predictor. We also had to sit through the ATI Live Review that they offer. I know that I shouldn't be as nervous as I am considering I have taken my NCLEX-PN last June and passed with 85 questions and contribute my success to Uworld. Here has been my study plan. Right after graduation I took the first (1 of 2) self assessment examinations. I obtained a "very high" probability of passing the first time as I was in the 85th percentile. As a previous user of Uworld I knew that was an ok score but I wanted better. At this point I have went through over 1500 question in the Qbank. I currently have an overall average of 67% which ranks me in the 94th percentile. Since my NCLEX exam is coming up in less then a week I decided to take the second self assessment examination and again obtained a result of "very high" chance of passing and was in the 92nd percentile this time. So I see that there has been some improvement from the first examination. I am curious what everyones thoughts are on my current scores? Is there anything else I should be reviewing prior to the examination? My ultimate goal would be to get through the rest of the Qbank questions and then go through the incorrect questions I have. To be honest I am becoming burnt out on answering test questions but then I continue to think about the examination and how it's so close and all the work, money, and time spent away from my wife and children comes down to this examination that I don't want to let anyone down. To top it off I was offered and accepted a full time RN position in the ICU so theres the added stress that. For anyone saying that no new grad belongs in the ICU I should tell you I have worked as a flight paramedic for the past 12 years so am very familiar with the critical care setting. Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

My ATI scores were at 99% probability of passing the NCLEX. I believe anything 92% or over means you're pretty much guaranteed to pass the NCLEX according to ATI. I also graduated at the very top of my class and did the Live ATI Review as well. I passed in 75 questions. I didn't do any questions for the last two days before the test because I felt burned out on doing practice questions, so I'd suggest taking at least one day off from stressing about it right before your test. The day before mine I went to a cookout, had some beers, chilled, and went to bed early. It turned out just fine for me, and I'm sure if you are pulling these good scores and did well in school, you will also be fine.

No disagreement here on new grad in ICU, since I also got hired to an ICU! Enjoy your new job!
