I used NCLEX 4000, NCLEX 10000 (prepU), Mary Ann hogan, kaplan 2012-2013, PDA. Passed on 2nd attempt with 88 questions. You may want to find a resource that best fit your learning type. It's really dependent on how you effectively utilize each resource.

I used Hurst to brush up on content and ATI for practice tests and questions. ATI also has an iPhone app that I used to go over questions throughout the day when I wasnt home. I also used Lippencott and Saunders question and answers. Passed NCLEX on the first try with 75 questions. Good Luck!!!

I personally used Kaplan only. I found it to be very helpful. I passed NCLEX last July with 75 questions on my first try :)

I am from California, studied Kaplan Questions and Hurst for Content, passed with 75 Q. But, The test is the same in California as is in TX or NY; this is a National Licensure Examination, regardless where its taken, the test given for all NCLEX-RN students, its the same.
Good Luck

If you feel like you are having trouble identifying your problem areas I highly recommend NCLEX High-Risk by Marian Condon. It is a book written for people who are at risk for failing the NCLEX. It helped me identify gaps in my knowledge and target those areas only, instead of wasting time doing a broader review.
I have also heard good things about the NCSBN review, but I have no experience with that personally.
