NCLEX RN in CA still wait for result!

Published

Is anybody know how many days or weeks exactly NCLEX RN takers in CA must wait to get the result? I know that some people lucky enough to have their names on BON web after 48 hours. I've been waiting for 2 weeks (I took NCLEX on 7/7/08) and I haven't got anything, neither my name posted on BON web nor result in the mail. Is anybody has been waiting longer than 2 weeks? I'm so devastated especially because I just got my job. I called BON last Friday and they didn't want to pass any information to me, only 1 lady told me that not everybody name would be posted on WEB within 48 hours until the person receives the actual result in the mail. Anybody knows what probably happen to my result?:nurse:

Average wait time is still ten days. If you do not hear anything within two weeks, then contact them to see if your file is complete.

There is no such thing as them waiting for your results to arrive from Pearson-Vue, that happens rather quickly. There are some states where the nurse has a license posted by the time that they drive home from testing. And all get the results at the same time, just depends on when they place them in your file, but more importantly if the file is actually complete. Usually it is an issue with either the fingerprints or the transcripts never arrived that holds things up.

Best of luck to you, and the BRN is unable to ever give results over the phone to anyone.

I took my exam on 7/16 and didn't find out til 7/25. Don't assume you failed. I did - and it was the worst 9 days of my life. Of course, when I saw my name on the board website, I was shocked and upset that I wasted so many days of my life feeling depressed for no reason!

Can you tell me what did you use to study and pass boards?

Did you pass boards, and what did you use to study?
