NCLEX review technique

Published

Hi there,

I just started reviewing last week, still trying to embrace the fact that I'm reviewing again after 4 years of trying and failing the exam 3x. I want to make sure this time is the final one so I filed a vacation from work so I can focus. I just don't know if my technique is

okay. Btw, I'm using Saunders compre and Q&A .. what I'm doing is I'm answering the Q&A and focusing on a certain topic, for example for 4 days I will be answering Q's about Cardio

then the next 4 days will be Respi and so on. I divided the total number of Q's from Saunders (Q&A CD) to the days I think I can finish the topic, I just make sure I can answer 100 to 180 Q's max per day then the remaining hours of my day I'm to read the Compre book.

Do you guys think this is okay or I'm spending a lot of time in one topic?

Please help..

I think Saunders is a good review. If you feel you need that much time on each topic then go for it. Everyone is different. The important thing is to make sure you understand the content and know how to answer the questions. Good luck to you.
