Recently took (&failed) the NCLEX-RN for the first time so now I am looking live tutoring/review services. I am looking at 3 different programs but I am unable to find any reviews from people who went through these programs (other than the reviews on their company websites). So for anyone who has bought:

- EZ NCLEX Tutoring Service - 8wk course

- Kaplan (The 3 day live review for $525)

- MyNursing Mastery

Can anyone let me know how they liked either programs, if they felt these were helpful (or not helpful), or any thoughts. Much APPRECIATED!!

I recently took Kaplan live and when I signed up I had a 20% off coupon I’m sure you can get a hold of somehow too if you are to choose it.

My best friend took her NCLEX two years ago and she won an “award” from her school who paid for her Kaplan Live. She said it really helped and she passed in 75 questions so that’s why I chose to do Kaplan.

I just took my NCLEX yesterday so I guess I’ll have to let you know if I passed haha!

I did find it very helpful though, I liked it because it was more structured then other  resources. That package also gives you access to other live classes that are content classes. Then the three day live class, that class doesn’t focus on content it focuses on how to answer questions and it’s actually really helpful because they teach you a method that sometimes when you don’t even know the content in the question you can answer it anyway!

There’s three phases and in the first phase you take a CAT exam, and three quizzes that you should remediate afterwards (it gives you rationales for each question) and they have thousands of videos for content review. Then the second phase is the live class, and a NCLEX practice test, and then the third phase has four more quizzes and then a “NCLEX readiness test.”

I also listened to Mark Klimek lectures for content review.

First off, congratulations!! How many questions did you get? & thanks for that info, I'll be looking for that coupon.

The 3 phases does that all happen with the 3 days they designate? Since I failed my NCLEX, I have to wait at least 45 days to retake it. Would you suggest to sign up with Kaplan closer to when I am going to test or would I be able to sign up as soon as possible?

Also, for the content videos, are those only accessible within those 3 days or do they give you access for a period of time?

Phase one is your own pace, phase two is three days (live class), phase three is your own pace.

I believe you have access for six months ?

also I got 76 questions, more then half were SATA. I don’t know if I passed yet but I’ll keep you updated!

Try Kaplan  or  Ready to Pass NCLEX review .

NCLEX mastery is good but only a question bank.

I found out I passed today in those 76 questions !! You got this !
