NCLEX results

I took my NCLEX 8/15 and it's been more than 48 hours. I did the PVT and got the good pop up. But I'm freaking out. I also checked continental testing's website and my results aren't up yet. How to check if my name is on the board of nursing website if I passed NCLEX? I live in IL btw. I can't wait any longer! Do you think I should do the quick results or wait it out?

You can just Google 'Illinois license verification' and it will take you to the page where you can search for your license. You can also check nursys.com to search for your license.

You sound very anxious, OP. Which is understandable, however, if your name is not on either of these sites I would personally just pay for quick results. The $8 IMO was worth the peace of mind. There is no telling how long it will take before anything is officially posted.

Take a deep cleansing breath, OP. You received the good pop up. Although it is a trick it is usually accurate.

Best wishes and positive vibes.

Yeah I think I'm gonna have to do that because I feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack.

By now the PVT is going to be 100% accurate because your exam has been definitively scored and your quick results will be waiting, if your state participates in the QR. The PVT is simply (near as I can tell) the billing system tied to your results. If you've passed, there's no reason to retake the NCLEX, therefore you get the good popup. People whose PVT results flip from one way to the other are very close to the pass/fail line and it's the 2nd, definitive scoring that results in the flip.

All that being said, if you're having much anxiety because you're getting the good popup and you're not seeing results (like license numbers) being posted, it very well may be worth your while to pay the $8.

California doesn't do the QR... I was kind of lucky, I suppose. I had my license numbers at about 35 hours after I finished the exam. Other classmates had to wait several days to get theirs.

I'm in Illinois. I took the test on 8/7, got the good pop up, my name was on the continental website 24 hrs later. I got my letter two days later (took it on Thurs, got the letter Saturday). It should be up there by now.
