If PearsonVue allowed you to pay for a re-test and your state BON is requesting an application re-examination then chances are high that your 1st NCLEX attempt was not successful.
You will receive a candidate performance report regarding your exam that will indicate how you preformed on each of the testing content areas - passing, near passing, or below passing. This will help you identify areas of strength and weakness to aid in developing a study plan. This report is sent from the NCSBN not any board of nursing nor PearsonVue.
Best of luck.
If you indeed failed at minimum questions, I would recommend finding a NCLEX tutor to evaluate the issue, whether it is a content comprehension issue or NCLEX-style question issue.
What type of school did you go to (community college, public or private university, or for-profit school)?
What is your school's NCLEX pass rate?

Hi- I literally just made an account and I do not know how to properly utilize this site…hopefully this gets to the right audience.
I took my NCLEX for the first time on June 22nd- I am in a state that does not allow quick results. I did the Pearson trick four hours after taking the test- I got the bad pop-up (and it took my money LOL). I still do not have my results. My BON site says I have to submit an application for re-examination. I called them asking if my results were sent over and they said they do not know.
My test shut off at 75 and I am freaking out. I thought I did okay but now I think I failed. I could use a pep talk please.
