NCLEX results in CA - How long to wait?!

Hello Everyone! Did anyone else in CA take their NCLEX on Saturday, August 11th (6 days ago)? I have so many friends who had taken their exams earlier than I, and had their results posted anywhere from 2 days to 7 days later... I'm afraid if my name doesn't pop-up on the BRN website by tomorrow, I'm gonna have a meltdown! LOL. Would all my fellow Californians please post the date they took the exam and if they received results, how long it took?! Also, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just spoke to an operator (if you press 2 twice, you will eventually get through to someone), who told me that the computer now says the date I took the exam, August 13th. The people I spoke to previously said that the computer didn't even show that I took the exam. Not sure if they're lieing or if their systems are just really delayed because of the computer issue in July. The operator also told me that my file was complete. Hoping the 2 weeks mark is the key. I have classmates who took the exam after me and already found out that they passed. Wish they could just fix the computer glitch already.

I took the NCLEX Monday August 13th in San Francisco and still haven't seen my name on the BON. Keep getting the "good pop-up" but keep hearing different things from the California BON operators!

I took my exam on Aug 13 and in the same boat as you: getting the good pop up but still no name on the BON. It seems as if nobody has heard anything yet who took the exam on the 13th so I feel better that I'm not the only one.

I guess we wait til Monday..however does the weekend play a factor since they only update Mon-Fri.? I wonder if we have to wait until those who took their exams on the 11th find out their results-which could be Monday for the 2 wk mark..then those who took their exam on the 12th will find out Tues..and so on?? Sorry if this sounds confusing..but it's just my guess..nothing in stone..

This is good news! I took mine on the 11th maybe they have mine then too!

@chosen50 Definitely glad I found this forum and know that I'm not the only one going through this too. I had more hope until I read that post about the person getting the good pop-up and failing. I'm hoping the weekend doesn't play a factor. I spoke to a man at the BON earlier today and he told me that the results have been delayed lately and are being posted in 10 business days, and since the weekends aren't business days that would mean that we should find out in exactly 2 weeks from the date that we took the exam.

In my opinion I think the person who got the good pop up and failed tried the trick before it said delivery successful. This makes sense because if the current exam has not been delivered successfully then the system would think that they could not re- register...

@2bgr8nurse That's what I'm hoping. After looking at other forums, it seems like most of the ppl who got the good pop-up and later found out that they didn't pass were doing the process incorrectly. It's just confusing that different BON opererators state different things.

In the beginning of this week I first heard that pearson didn't even send my results, which the BON operator said could happen sometimes depending on the amount of people who took the nclex around the same time, but I later found out from a pearson operator that they send results to the BON on the same day you take the exam (during the evening).

I then heard that there was a computer issue, and 2 different operators told me that that my SSN wasn't bringing up any results, or that I even took the exam on August 13th. One of the operators told me that the reason ppl who took the exam after me found out they passed before me was because the results were coming in to the BON randomly.

Then today a man told me that the results were coming in late and they should be posted in 10 business days. The 2nd time I called a woman told me that results should be posted within 72 hrs. and that she didn't hear anything about a comptuer problem.

Why do the operators not know what is going on?

Yeah I understand your confusion Cya12. Its been a different story everytime Ive talked to someone at the state. Its so confusing. I took mine on the 11th So im hoping my results will be coming soon. The waiting game is making me so nervous.

Ive become a crazy person with checking the BRN site for my name and pearson vue to make sure Im still getttin the "good pop up". Ill be sure to let y'all know as soon as I find out! you should probably be a day or two after me. Im hoping for tomorrow or Saturday, but with the way things have been going....who knows=)

I'm in the same position as you! I took it on 8/11 in CA. The first week I kept checking my name.. thought it would appear in 3 days or so. I didn't know about the glitch until this week when I called BRN. I still get the good pop up. Let's hope to hear by Saturday... or at least by mid next week :). Pls let me know once you find out!!

Dang! Refresh, refresh, refresh... And finally!... August 23!... And then another let down.. Name is still not posted. Here's to yet another sleepless night waiting for tomorrow morning's update! Lol
