NCLEX results in CA - How long to wait?!

Hello Everyone! Did anyone else in CA take their NCLEX on Saturday, August 11th (6 days ago)? I have so many friends who had taken their exams earlier than I, and had their results posted anywhere from 2 days to 7 days later... I'm afraid if my name doesn't pop-up on the BRN website by tomorrow, I'm gonna have a meltdown! LOL. Would all my fellow Californians please post the date they took the exam and if they received results, how long it took?! Also, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

So, I called the BRN again and... same dumb story!!!!!! I guess the companies that are working on this issue is from the BRN and Pearson vue, so they are both working on this! Im gonna call pearson and ask to speak to management. This time I got the phone numbers of some people in management at the BRN, but they were on the other line or something.

Here are the numbers that I received:916-515-5258 and 916-574-7611.

We should start talking to management instead!

AHHHH!!! I just talked to pearson vue and they said that our results are confidential and that I need to contact my state board of nursing... I HAVE BEEN DOING THAT!!!! Then after ten minutes of going in circles, she said that if I don't get my results on the 4 week mark to call back and that they can give me the results....REALLY??!!!

@ Lauren......Yeah talking to anyone at pearson vue is a joke. I felt like I kept repeating myself over and over and over agian and the man just couldnt get it. Then told me to call back after 4 weeks! The more I think about it the more mad it makes me. And then to know that Monday is a holiday just delays the process that much longer!!! I guess we will see what tomorrow holds.

EVERYONE PLEASE KEEP CALLING THESE NUMBERS!! THIS IS CRAZY!! Seriously, I feel like we deserve some type of refund or something..or if we have to retake the exam, the entire application fees should be covered. God forbid we have to retake-I really believe we all passed though. But this wait is not acceptable. I already called and left messages with both these numbers.

Spoke to a really nice operator. He said they've had trouble with the 8th-15th results. I know for sure the 8th-10th results have been received. I asked how many more weeks do I have to wait...he said they're working on it this week. I just wish my results came in August...not September! As of today, my results haven't been received.

I talked to someone from management! I called her and she said she would call me back after she did some investigating... and she actually called me back! She said that they plan to have the issue resolved by next tues 9/4, after the holiday! So hopefully we will be seeing our results in about a week!

Lauren- thank you for your investigating!! I really wanted to know this week, but I can handle the 4th its less than a week away and much better than waiting the entire 4 weeks! I sure hope thats the end of it and we all know that day! I'm so over waiting ;) I think about, dream about and have become pretty much obsessive;)

Yay!! Thank you!!! I've become obsessed too! I wake up @ 6 now without the alarm..& every night I have dreams of my name posting lol! Ok I can wait for another week...:)

We must have talked to the same lady, as she told me the same thing -- that they hope to have our results uploaded by next Tuesday. When I asked her for more details about what the problem was, she just said there was a transmission problem from Pearson with the results for the 11th and 13th and totally evaded me when I tried to get more specific details (which makes me think that they could solve this problem by manually receiving/processing the data but don't want to admit to this since it would increase their workload). I then told her how frustrating this is for those of us who are waiting and she said that they are frustrated too, but that the IT department is working on it.

Let's hope this lady knows what she is talking about.

@erythropoietin: Did you talk to a lady named Bobby? That first number I gave a couple posts ago was to her direct office.
