nclex registration help

sup guys!!!

i've been reading a lot of posts about the "ATT" and im really confused now. my school sucks and didnt really help us students on how to register for nclex. well i graduated last april 2010 i completed all the requirements and my school sent my papers to the BON through mail on may 12. and now its june 14th and still i havent received anything from the BON. so i called them up this morning and they said that they received my papers but it hasnt been evaluated yet, they said its gonna take another 2-3 weeks to get evaluated. now my question is can i register at pearson vue without receiving anything from the BON yet? will i get my ATT if i register? or do i still have to wait for the BON's approval? ive been studying for months now, i really need to take and pass nclex ASAP because the application for the lvn-rn bridge program at LBCC ends on july 30th. and i need my lvn license to apply......plz plz reply.....thanks guys!!!

You can register with pearsonvue but they will not send you your ATT until told to by the BON

As per my experience you need to get evaluated by BON and then they will send u a letter by saying that ur evaluation has been done and now u can call to Pearson vue inorder to schedule ur exam.Once u get the evaluation letter then u can call to pearson vue inorder to schedule the exam. But they took 30 days to sent my ATT and i need to call my borad of nursing and told them that it's been 30 days and have not got my ATT and within 14 hrs they sent meh the ATT.After u get the ATT u can schdule for test online or by callin them.U can take exam anyday u like as far as date is available.

Hope this will help if not then free to send meh private msg.

Gud luck :)

I would be patient. Two to three weeks is an answer. Good luck.

Your state boards have to send Pearson your info BUT you also need to register and pay Pearson the $200 before they will send your ATT to you.

Check out this NCLEX Registration Information

Your state probably has on their website an outline/instructions of the process.

Good Luck

well i guess ill have to wait...thanks for all ur replies guys

yeah.. you need to wait for the go signal from the BON before you do something else.. i waited for almost a year because they keep on asking me about my schools and other stuff (coz my school is just new) but once you have the eligibility as they say.. you can go ahead and register at pearsonvue.. now i'm preparing for the exam.. I NEED AN EXAM BUDDY!!! :)
