hello! i am going nuts trying to get an answer. please... please help!
i took my test yesturday, 205 questions. i did the "pearsonvue trick" or "pvt" and i keep getting the good pop up. has anyone taken the nclex-pn after april 1, 2011 and got the good pop-up but got the official letter saying they failed?
or, do you know anyone this happened to? the nclex-pn was hard!! i take that back, it was the hardest test i have ever taken. i was pretty sure i didn't pass. not knowing is killing me.
I know right? What state did u take it? I hate to wait 4-6 weeks but what can i do. My classmate waited 7 weeks & she never knew about the PVT! I just came across this website to look for nclex pn tips & found a lot of people talking about it. Then I tried to find out if my schoolmates have done it i found atleast 5 plus 5 friends who recently took it & said that it really works.. So now it's about the waiting game. The anxiety is keeping me awake all night & read atleast hundreds of posts about pvt, and i only found 2 negative so far..
Lol wow that's crazy cause that's the same thing I'm doin...but I talked to a friend and said that if they got a false positive from the PVT they did it before their results said "delivery successful"...so hopefully now jus have to play the waiting game...
At USA i had 205 questions too, got the good pop up & 6 days apart (05/26 & 06/01). Lets hope for the best!! Its a good sign. Just pray & hope we pass! Update us if anything!
Hello Everyone, I took my Nclex-PN on 06/24/11 and since I saw on the pearson website that my results were successful delivered, I've been trying the trick and I keep getting the good pop-up message. I am so nervous about it and to wait at least 4 week more is driving me crazy:idea: ... As everyone else I keep reading post about the trick and I get really sad and anxious to think that the pop-up could not work... I did all 205 questions...OMG I wish to have the power to fast forward the time for at least 4 weeks.....
Many of you have respond to my previous post and have encourageme about to start making a list of the places I will be apply to work..lol... I wish that was so easy....
ATUSA/ Have you get your results yet? you took yours on May 24/2011.. Have you receive anything in the mail yet?

I did get my results and I passed! I got the results and everyone was right... The trick works. I kept looking for some post saying that the pop up trick didn't work, and I never found that post. Now I know why, if you get the pop up and that means you passed. It took an additional 3 weeks to get my license (after mailing the check).
P.s. quik248- I got the letter saying that I passed within 2 weeks. All my friends from class also got the results in less than 2 weeks. However; my boyfriend took his test in Sacramento (thinking he would get his result sooner) and it took 4 weeks for his results.

I have a question (unrelated to the above post), how do you find work with no experience? I was looking around for jobs and everyone said "experience needed" Do I still apply?

I am sure you passed, right? Congrats to us!!!!! :yeah:I actually got my results my birthday weekend. It was the best birthday gift ever! I forgot the date of my test, but I got my results on 6/04.
Yes i passed! thank GOD! i got the good pop up, pvt worked. Had the official results 9 days after the test. Mailed the bvnpt for the license, 1 week later i got it. So 3 weeks total for everything to be done for me. Took it 06/01 by 06/23 got the official license
I'll be working soon cuz my mom-in-law is a DON so she'll be helping me to find a job... I'm having some interviews after the 4th of july

I was so shocked to see those questions because some of my friends who have recently taken the boards have told me that they only had a few medications and check all that apply on the exam. But with me? Damn! I had tons! I went home that day, waited for 3 hours and did the Pearson trick. Oddly enough, I got the good pop-up. I've been trying since then and I still get the same thing. I'm still nervous though. I'm not sure how reliable it is. I don't want to jump up and down for nothing, you know? But the wait is killing me! It sucks BIG TIME! My friend told me to go to the Department of Consumer Affair website and it will post your name right away (within 24-48 hours) after you take the exam, but I really don't think that's true because I think you need to have a license first in order for your name to be posted on that website. Does anyone know about this website? Am I right? You must receive your license first before it can be posted on there, right???? Thank you!

You will not see your name on website until you have received your results and paid for your license
