Best I can tell you is that you haven't described "higher level questions" because they were SATA or anything else.....SATA is a format and questions posed in this manner can be above passing standard or below it.
If at the time you concluded your exam you had demonstrated with 95% certainty that you were competent (above passing standard), you'll pass. Getting an above-passing-standard question at the end (and getting it right) does not tell you/us that you had sufficiently demonstrated competency long enough for it to matter (a pass). Maybe....maybe not; it was the last possible question so you were done regardless. Since no one can tell you where you were in the process when your exam closed, the best we CAN say is....good luck!
I'd suggest visiting the Students forums (top of this page, yellow banner, click on Students) and then scrolling to the NCLEX Discussion Forum. Many people in your same shoes, so...maybe that will help.
Hang in there! :)

So i just took the nclex with all 265 questions today. 5/10 of my last questions were supposedly higher level. The final three questions had the bold "First" "Best" in the question and one was a SATA. Basically my question is, my final question on the nclex was "they gave me a scenario, and said what should the nurse do FIRST in bold letters" the answer choices were simple like; give oxygen, check vital signs, call doctor....I was just wondering if that last question was a higher level question? or if the answer choices were too simple to be higher level.. any help would be appreciated :)
