nclex with 85 questions......

oldernursingstudent can you tell me how long you had to wait as i took my exam on feb27 and it shut off at 205 i am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the results as i am waiting for two interviews for the results, all i can think of is what if, but with god in my life he has the answer i know. congratulations, waiting is worth the good news. can anyone else tell me if anyone has stopped at 205 and passed. please help.

hi tracylynn, you must live in california too. i took mine on 2/16 and it took 19 days to get my results. my friend who took it the same day as me got hers in 16 days. so i would think you may have up to two more weeks to wait if you took your on the 27th. i know the wait is terrible. i was a wreck, but praise god i passed. just put it in god's hands and try and keep busy to keep your mind off it (easier said than done i know). another friend in my class got all 205 questions and she passed, many others have too, so don't worry about how many questions you got. i only got 85 and wanted more as i did not feel like i could have gotten enough right. i am praying for you and hope you will have good news soon. take care. sincerely, oldernursingstudent in california (LVN!!!!)

Thank you for the words of encouragment. It is alot easier said then done to keep busy. I am trying though. I dont like California right now for having to wait. yuck. :madface:

i know, last night is the first night i was really able to sleep. i was so stressed every day waiting for that mail. my heart goes out to you. those of us who live in california really have it bad with this wait. why they don't have the quick result option, i have no idea. keep positive, keep praying and trust in the lord is the best advice i can give. he brought me through it and i thought i failed. everyone i know feels like they failed, even my friend who got 205 like you and she passed, so think positive. i'm rooting for you sweetie. :) :) :)

i call then state board here to see if my exam results were mailed. they have not been mailed as of yet. cant give any hints either. yuck stress, stress. i hope it comes soon, i dont know what is worse taking the boards or waiting for them, besides the fact the nearest place to take the boards is 3 hours away. i wish they would get here soon.

I still have not heard received anything from the state yet on my test, this is very frustrating. urgh. three weeks today and still waiting. hopefully soon. when i called last week it had not yet been mailed.

CONGRATULATIONS NEW NURSE!!!!!! We do have an awsome God. I am so happy for you. Guess what I just got my first nursing job at our local hospital. It is in med/surg. Haven't started yet, but excited and scared. Waiting for my license right now. Way to go girl. :balloons: :biggringi :nurse:

Complaining about results in 4 days? ahah try in canada where you write in June... the 1st of June and don't find out until September. Now that sux, so by then your working somewhere on a temporary and they can you for failing. Although, not many people fail the canadians, either way 3 months is brutal
