nclex with 85 questions......

ok, i took the nclex today and the computer shut off at 85, i walked away and to be honest...i really don't know!! i will be a nervous wreck till friday evening when i can go online and find out.

my question is.....has anyone here had the computer shut off at 85 and NOT pass?

i took the NCLEX on 2/16 and because I live in California have to wait up to four weeks. i am a nervous wreck along with two of my friends who took it with me. i have had to leave it in God's hands because there's nothing i can do but wait. mine shut off at 85 and i felt like i failed even though i studied for three months. both of my friends shut off at 85 and we were all A/B students. We probably have another two weeks of waiting. Will let you know. :)

Took mine today. Shut off at 85, I am FREAKING OUT needless to say. *sigh*

I'm right there with you. If you don't live in California you will get your results alot sooner than I will (up to 4 week wait). I wish you the best. So many of us have shut off at 85. I was seriously banging the mouse on the desk thinking it was broken when it shut off. I wanted more questions! So far everyone I have seen on here has felt the way we do. I will keep you in my prayers that we passed. Take care. :)

I just called the nursing board here in cali. and they said that my results were mailed out yesterday. I took the test 2/10 for the 2nd time and this time it cut off at 85. The 1st time I had all 205 I was just wondering if any 2nd timers cut off beyond 85 and passed or do you just get 85 questions and that determines if you pass or fail each time after the first time.

i live in calif. too and when i called the BON they just said you have to wait for your letter in the mail. i'm surprised they told you your results had been mailed out. i took mine on 2/16 and am going nuts waiting for the results. good luck to you and to all of us. :)

hello i took my boards on 2/27 second time and shut off at 205 i am going nuts to find out that we have to wait in the mail and it can take 2-8 weeks as i was told. i wonder has anyone ever passed at shutting off at 205.

I took my boards on Feb 10 and I had all 205 questions. I walked away feeling as if I had failed but I found out 2 days later I passed. Another student in my class also had all 205 questions and she passed too. So just because you had all the questions, that does not meant that you failed. Good luck and think positive.

hi traceylynn, my friend just took NCLEX on 2/3 and she got all 205 questions and just found out she passed. she too felt like she failed. i took mine on 2/16 and got 85 and i felt like i failed too. this waiting is cruel isn't it. you must be in california too. every other state gets results in 48 hours but ours. :( will keep you in my prayers.

yes i live in california this sucks the only state that doesnt post. Darn it now I am more stressed out then before the test, waiting for my results.

hang in there, that's all we can do. i have been a wreck too. can't sleep or do much of anything. just checked the mail (no letter) this is day 13 for me. i'm praying that we pass. :)

i passed.. i got my results (posted online @bon) within 24 hours. goodluck everyone!
