NCLEX question

Published

Hello, this is my first thread on this site. I have been reading some of the posts about the NCLEX a little before i took the test last week. Unfortunetly i did not pass. I took all 265 questions and left the testing center feeling pretty bad about the exam. I studied a lot using different types of guides, including medspub, NCLEX 3000, and NCLEX made easy. A friend of mine told me about Suzanne's plan and recommended it. So i believe I'm going to order the Saunders Comprehensive Review and read the chapters and then take the exams at the end of the chapter and have to get >75% to move on to the next chapter. Is this the way that this is supposed to work or am I wrong? Any information would be wonderful

Thanks!

hi, i am sorry that you didn't pass. no, you don't read the chapters before taking the chapter quizzes unless you get 90%. hope this helps. her sticky at the top of the nclex forum page also has alot of information. best of luck to you.

Thanks for the reply, I just noticed the sticky and read through what Suzanne had to say... I just ordered the Saunders Comprehensive review 4th edition and hope it helps. I'm really glad i found this site, it seems to be full of great information and nice people that are willing to help!

you are very welcome. it has helped me also. this site is so uplifting and encouraging and very supportive. i have tested 3 times already, each unsuccessfully. i purchased the saunders book last month. i started suzanne's 1st tip on june 25th. i will be done by the end of this week. it has taken me 1 month to finish her 1st tip, but i want to do things right this time, and pass the nclex. some people finish her tip sooner, but i graduated dec. '06, so i am taking her plan seriously and religiously doing everything right. i wish you all the best and remember we can do this!!! :)

p.s i am sure you will get addicted to this website as i have!! :D
