NCLEX Preparation?

I have been using NCLEX 4000 to practice for boards...How similar are these questions to NCLEX questions? Is this good preparation.

Also, next week I will be attending a HURST review...How big of a help is this review usually? I know they claim it to be the best thing since sliced bread, but would like to hear from others who have taken it!

If you do some reading in the NCLEX forum you might find that many people give favorable recommendations for the Hurst review.

hello, i am using NCLEX 4000 together with the Saunders 5th edition book for my content review. I do it simultaneously by topic. I have used the study mode in NCLEX 4000, and the study mode also in saunders cd. But i have read all the pages of the book. After reading the book, i took the quiz per chapter. Then i have nclex cram review book as well which is a good content book to back up the saunders. After reading the contents of all those, i did the exam mode. A week before my exam, i bought the nclex cram practice questions. I did it twice in the book and cd. It greatly helped me especially the cram sheet which i brought along with me before my exam date.

Two days before my exam, i read the hurst must read notes. then pray , pray, pray. I did my prayers before my studies.

I passed , just recently saw my name in the BON. I owe all of these to St. Joseph of Cupertino, ST. therese, St. Anthony, ST. .Jude, Sacred heart of Jesus, Holy Child, Holy Spirit , our Lady of Good studies, and St. Francis Cabrini.

Just be consistent with your studies and pray...God will surely help you along the way. Good luck:)

WOW! How long is everyone studying for NCLEX? Sounds like several months!

I just graduated last night, am taking the Hurst Review next week & hope to take the NCLEX by the end of the month...Am I rushing it?
