NCLEX practice test scores

So i am about to take the NCLEX exam on Wednesday and i have been getting 58%-68% on my practice tests, my average being 64%....is this a bad thing??? Majority of the tests have been Kaplan with the new 2010 test plan book, others have been with the Davis 2010 practice book. I am just getting anxious that i am not doing well enough or prepared enough...any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

they say u should score about 70% on practice test!

I used Saunders, NCLEX 4000 and ATI

I scored between high 60s-mid 80s with an average of 75% on each. My last few practice exams I took 2 days before the NCLEX I was scoring in the 80s. I felt ready then.

Stop worrying about practice tests. You have prepared. Practice your relaxation techniques and go test. Good luck.

WOOOOOOH! I am right there with you. Same test scores in the same books! The Davis questions are TOUGH, TOUGH and TOUGH! I test Wednesday also. Woke up this morning with a cold and am ready to bang my head against the wall trying to make the decision on if I should reschedule. My vacation/work schedule does not really permit much more flexibility after Wednesday so I am freaking out!

Most people I talk with are encouraging and telling me to go forward with it. I know everyone will say "it's up to you if you are ready or not." But, honestly, I'm never ready for any test!

well that makes me feel a little better! And i agree, Davis is TOUGH! Sorry to hear about your cold, i am just getting over mine! Had it for 2 weeks...good luck on Wednesday if you keep you test day! I can't wait to get it over with!

Im right there with ya buddy! My scores tend to range from 60's to 70's consistently...utilizing Kaplan's Stragedies book, Exam Cram, Davis, and LaCharity.

I'm going bonkers!! I am trying to review Saunders and none of it is sticking. Ready to throw in the towel on content review.. but I keep thinking of a million things I haven't looked at!
