The type of education associated with the education program code does not match the type of exam for which you are registering.

This is the error I am getting on the additional questions. Has anyone ever seen this before?? It will not let me go any further

Are you referring to doing the Pearson Vue trick? If so, you can find lots of information about that (and its lack of accuracy and why you can't do it until after 24 hours after your test) in the NCLEX forum. I particularly like this thread by RNsRWe.

It looks to me like you are attempting to register for the NCLEX-RN, and do not qualify, as your education is for a PN. If you took the NCLEX already, you cannot register for a new exam until you receive confirmation that you failed this one. If you are attempting a duplicate registration, you are going against the TOS of Pearson Vue and you may have hit a roadblock accordingly. Not familiar with that message, but maybe it's the reason.

IF you are trying to do the PVT, you are breaking the TOS of the site, and therefore liable for any charges as a result. Think carefully before doing the game!

One other thing: once you have confirmation that you were issued a nursing license, you can use the UserID you signed up with. Until then, though...you must change it, as it is against the rules of this website to use "nurse" as an ID if you do not hold that license.

Good luck!
