Nclex pn study tips please help

Published

Hey everyone

Taking my NCLEX pn in about a month. I feel very disorganized. There's so much content to cover and I feel like I'm bouncing from one area to another.

Should I be designating days or weeks to certain areas and moving on to the next or should it be conprhensive every day?

I have Saunders, nclex mastery app, and exam cram.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I totally PASSED! I took it at Terre Haute...found out in about 2 hours with the updated PLA site changed to ACTIVE and got my licensure number! Indiana Board of Nursing is on it!

That is awesome! Congrats!! Was there an update to the system? It seems to get faster each year

Not sure but I know Pearson VUE is going to be down tomorrow so they might have just been processing faster

A few of my classmates took and passed their NCLEX pn and said that they didn't know any of the content... Did you feel this way? I know the harder the questions the more above passing standard they are.

In regards to difficulty how would you rate your exam?

Uworld for the win! I passed Tuesday, August 16

It was challenging and very hard towards the end. It went past 85 and I was nervous it would go to 205. After I clicked next at question 95, it shut off. I felt I knew about half of the items on NCLEX. I must have gotten harder questions since I was doing well enough to pass. You will not feel prepared for it but just go with your gut and make the best decision. I got my license 2h after my test.

I am going to use uworld for my NCLEX RN when that time comes. I can say uworld looks very similar to NCLEX.
