I think that you will be good with Saunders and LaCharity. Studying from just those 2 books helped me successfully pass the PN Nclex. I went through the whole Saunders Book. I went through the whole CD studying the content, questions (wrong or right), rationals. Sounds like you are on the right track. You are right, you do not want to buy a bunch and bunch of NCLEX studying books and materials because it is all to much information and will have you very confused. I should know because right now I got a library in my home full of NCLEX books and all I really needed was Saunders and LaCharity :-) Good Luck to you!!

Hello. I just starting studying pretty much 'religiously' yesterday for the nclex-pn exam. I am cutting back work hours this next month in october, and on the days i'm not working i'm going to treat this studying like it's a job. I haven't scheduled when to take it yet but i'm thinking in november would be best because I want to go through EVERYTHING on this book that I got to help me study. It's called "Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-PN Examination Edition 4" and I've always heard good things about Saunders so I decided to go off of this. I don't want 20 million items to study off of i just want one main thing so it helps me stay organized with studying. DO you guys recommend this book????? Did it help you pass the nclex??? What I did so far was read the beginning of the book where it explained test strategies and how to answer nclex questions. . . very helpful so far. Now I am currently using the CD that comes with the book and i am planning on going over the content area of EACH and EVERY category. So far I have done the Adult Health/Cardiovascular one which consists of around 145 questions. I have 20 more categories to go!!! I am reading through each rationale and strategy on how to answer each question. Do you think I should go with that route????? I really don't know how else to go about doing this. Any suggestions? I'm scared ******** to take this exam and at first I was going to just take it without studying because the nurses at my nursing home where I work said that i just need to go and take it and if I fail then i'll know what to expect next time.....but I realize it's my future and things don't come easy for me, i ALWAYS have to study in order to do good on exams, always. Please please please respond to me and give me guidance! thank you's!
