So sorry Love. To be honest with you nothing really prepared me for that test (I took it saturday) however I used saunders and exam cram-pn but still I felt like I didnt know any of those questions. Maybe consider taking a review class, thats what i did and i think it helped the most. Good luck in the future!
I was using my medication cards from clinicals and UpwardMobility NCLEX-PN which has hundards of practice questions with rationales and a testing feature which mocks the NCLEX. I was using the UpwardMobility because I was working double and it was an app I could use on my phone on the go. I have looked at Sanders and Kaplan, but another couple hundred dollars was not in my budget. I guess I should have made it work since I'll be retesting again and spending another $200
Hello SweetAmber,
I from Louisiana, and I took my RN boards yesterday (4-28-11) too at 8 am. When I got home, I stumbled upon this "trick" tip on the internet. I don't even know how that happened, but I wish that it didn't. I tried it SEVERAL times, and it still brings my to the credit card page. I pray that I didn't fail. I had 76 questions, and most were teaching questions. I felt good when I left the testing center, but now I don't b/c of this trick. But on a good note all my friends (7 total) that had 75 questions did pass. So, maybe there's a glimmer of hope for me. Please, I hope you post if you failed or not, and I will do the same. That way ppl will know if this "trick" is reliable, b/c I found maybe 2 false fails and all the rest was "good" pop ups. I am having an anxiety attack much like you. I pray that we both passed! So, again, please let me know.

Today was the big day to take my boards. I'm usually a great tester because I was taught how to pick apart the questions, but that was absolutely no help on the NCLEX. I had a lot of meds I did not know about and a lot of teaching. I had to take all 205 questions and did the Pearson Vue "trick" which sends me to the credit card page. Now I've completely lost all hope that I've passed and am heartbroken. Its such a disappointment to fail (of course). I've been reading posting after post about the trick always working so I guess the next step is to get better study material
Is there a waiting period before you can retest? What are good study materials?
