NCLEX-PN exam shut down at quest 85?

Hi I'm new here. Took my NCLEX-PN this AM. Boy, it was indeed hard! I studied a lot and prayed hard but the whole process is stressing me out until this point. I don't know if I will have the courage to check on my result this Saturday. The computer gave me a prompt that I can take a break after the 84th question and then shut off at 85. Anybody knows what this means? Please enlighten me. Many thanks...

I also took the PN this morning, but the difference is, I only studied for 4 days. I'm i a program that requires you to get your LPN while continuing in an accelerated program to get your RN. So there was no break offered to study for the test. I got all 205 questions. I'm so extremely nervous! Here in Utah, the passing rate for the NCLEX-PN is 98% state-wide. So the results of today's tests will be available Saturday? They told me 2 business days....so do we have to wait until Monday?

Thanks for your prayers, Ninenineteen, I need a lot of it. The whole thing is giving me nightmares. I never doubted God's love and mercy in my life. Only He can make miracles happen. I even prayed to St. Therese, the "Little Flower" to intercede in my behalf. Prayer can move mountains. I already claim that I passed!

As for your question Sjbrian, try going to their website on SAturday if the results are available. Good luck to the both of us....Keep on praying...

Hello, I'm new here as well. I took NCLEX-PN yesterday and the computer stopped at 85 ?'s. Everyone tells me that's a good thing, but I cannot bring myself to believe it. I did awesome in school and I feel like I know maybe 10 questions and the rest I guessed on. How can I think positive? I keep thinking it shut off because I was way below the passing standard. Please give me some feedback...or pray for me as I have been doing for myself.

just keep on praying, because God answers persistent prayers! and i know you did well that's why you stopped at 85. i also stopped at 85, and i guessed ALL OF THEM- trust me, but i passed NCLEX! so believe in God's miracle!

So I had to change my username...but anyways, I get home and look up some of the questions and some of the easiest ones I missed....I feel so incredibly stupid and I'm freaking out....I have been praying...I want so badly to be an LPN...I've worked hard for it and I deserve it. Did you feel at all remotely close to feeling like how I did?

I took mine a couple of weeks ago and mine also shut off at 85 and I passed, it was such a great relief.

Just to let you know, my friend took it and she had 85 questions and did pass. I think the less questions, the better. She said most of her class got around 85 questions and everybody passed. please let me know how you do! Can you give me any pointers on taking it? :uhoh3: :uhoh3: :uhoh3: :uhoh3:

HI GUYS I TOOK THE NCLEX-PN TODAY FOR THE 2ND TIME AND THE COMPUTER STOPPED AT NUMBER 85!! I WAS FREAKING OUT....I WAS LIKE WELL I HOPE I PASSED BUT AT THE SAME TIME I HAD PRAYED IT STOPPED AT 85 BECaUSE THE FIRST TIME I TOOK IT IT STOPPED AT #205 AND I FAILED!! I BELIEVED I PASSED AND I HAVE CONFIDENCE THAT I PASSED BUT I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY ABOUT IT!! I WILL PRAY FOR ALL U GUYS TO!! GOD BLESS U!
