WHY DO THEY REFER TO lpN'S AS MEDICS? I WORKON AN AF BASE AND THEY CALL ME A MEDIC. I HATE THAT. I WORKED HARD FOR THIS LICENSE. FLORIDA BOARD SAYS MILITARY MEDIC TRAINING IS NOT NURSING EDUCATIO.

Help! can't think of a nursing diagnosis. Also she wants us to write down what we think is pertinent to that diagnosis. a little confused:uhoh3:

I think you should go the lpn route. I am and my prerequisites give me a2.75 average, but I automatically get into the bridge program here. Also, there are alot of responses about going LPN and making it sound easier. It's not!!!!!!! it's very time consuming and you get much more clinical experience. Most of my friends that did the bridge program say it was a breeze for them because they had LPN. It is a more demanding program, period.... best of luck to you;) ;)

Hey!! I found these new shoes that are supposed to help with pain and burning and also your back. The are called MBTs. They are around $244.00, but are worth it. hope this helps. ;)

Just to let you know, my friend took it and she had 85 questions and did pass. I think the less questions, the better. She said most of her class got around 85 questions and everybody passed. please let me know how you do! Can you give me any pointers on taking it? :uhoh3: :uhoh3:

I have the same problem with a certain unit secretary. I am in nursing school and she told my instructor that my husband called (faked the whole thing) to try to get me in trouble for having to leave early... I have never done anything to this girl, but she hates me!!!!!!! My instructor said to steer clear of her. Denise, i bet she is jealous of you. That's what I think this one is....

they hire them at my hospital in fort walton beach, florida and they let a girl who was working on her RN take the test to be an LPN. THese LPN programs are grueling and we get more clinical time and usually end up with more experience. Don't know where some of that info is coming from but it is inaccurate as far as florida is concerned. I have worked with some fantastic nurses and they have all been LPN's before they became RNs

hey everyone!!! how do i know what size needle for im injections? my instructor told me that i should know this information before i go to give meds with her. someone please review steps with me for im, subcutaneous, and insulin injections. i would appreciate something i could put on a card and take to clinicals. thanks a million!!!!!!!!!!!
