  1. an addiction issue? I'm an LPN and will soon be taking boards for the RN. I'm ADD and have taken Ritalin for 3 years. It turned into an addiction where I had a couple of doctors prescribing it to me. I came clean to my psychiatrist and started going to NA. My psychiatrist said he might tell the RN boards about it. He has that report sheet that shows who prescribed to me, what they prescribed, and where I got them filled at. I already said he will call medicaid (my insurance) about it. So my question is......does he have the athority to disclose this information to the board? If so, what steps will the board take as far as getting my RN? Please respond if you have any info.
  2. I'm a nursing student in my 3rd semester. It only a 13 month RN program and it feels like we haven't have a whole lot of clinical experience. So my question is....how do hospitals handle new grad situations when they hire? How much training does the average hospital give for new grads with no experience?
  3. Well, I mentioned already that I got all 205 questions and found out I passed today. Good luck to you all.
  4. Nothing is quite exactly like the format of the actual NCLEX, but the questions did help. I only studied for 4 days though. But I found out today that I passed.:w00t:
  5. Just got my results too.....I passed! I was asked the full 205 questions on mine.
  6. I also took the PN this morning, but the difference is, I only studied for 4 days. I'm i a program that requires you to get your LPN while continuing in an accelerated program to get your RN. So there was no break offered to study for the test. I got all 205 questions. I'm so extremely nervous! Here in Utah, the passing rate for the NCLEX-PN is 98% state-wide. So the results of today's tests will be available Saturday? They told me 2 business days....so do we have to wait until Monday?
  7. Thanks. So I have to ask everyone this question.....have you, or someone you know, gotten asked all 205 questions on the NCLEX-PN before? If so, did they pass or fail? Your responses are much appreciated.
  8. So does this mean I likely failed it? The first 100 questions were a horrible experience. I was so sleep deprived that my eyes kept closing on me and I couldn't concentrate on a single question. Am I screwed?
  9. okay, I've done about 700 practice questions in the last 3 days. I didn't really do a whole lot of studying because I'm in an accelerated RN program that has no breaks. We're required to take the NCLEX-PN, while going through the RN portion of our program. So, I have to take the test tomorrow morning!!! Here's hoping these practice questions helped!
  10. I've heard from many people that Kaplan's questions are most similar to the NCLEX.......can anyone tell me if there is any truth to this?
  11. Thanks for the responses. Well that makes me feel a bit better that we all seem to be in the same boat with those questions. If anyone else is doing the PN question bank from kaplan, please post and tell us how its going.
  12. Okay, I've done 350 questions from the question bank and my overall score for those questions is 60%. Can anyone tell me their scores from the Kaplan qbank? Are the actual NCLEX-PN questions going to be this difficult to answer? Please post and let me know asap....i take the test in 3 days! Thanks.
