NCLEX Pearson Vue registration (TX) appeared twice

Hi everyone,

I applied for NCLEX-RN exam (Texas BON), submitted all my requirements, and did everything that has to be done. The last thing I did was register with Pearson VUE. The following day, I checked my application status online, and the "Registered with Pearson VUE" appeared twice. Here's how it looks like.

Why does REGISTERED WITH PEARSON VUE appears twice? Does this mean I need to register again? Has anyone else experienced this? Should I contact BON? Please help me. Please advice. Thank you.

Hi CrazyJess.Im planning to take TX Nursing Jurisprudence next week. How was it when you took it?Do I need to study and read the whole file for Rules and Regulations?Good luck to you:)

Hi CrazyJess,

I also registered with the Texas BON. My application status only showed "registered with Pearson VUE" once. It's probably just a glitch in their system, but I'd call them just to be sure. Good luck with your exam!! :nurse:

its past tense "REGISTERED" chill dude

Hi CCLegnon,

Jurisprudence exam is very easy. I mean the options are very obvious. I didn't study at all. I didn't read anything. Some of the questions I totally had no clue what it was. Well, I googled it, and Viola, the answer is just right there on their website. You don't have to worry cause they give you lots of time to research. (2 hours for 50 item exam). I was able to finish it in an hour. Also, I downloaded the NPA before I started the exam, and I kind-of run through the whole thing. Not really read it, but just checked what's the content, and that helped me too. There were questions from there, so I just F-searched it from the file. I had the NPA open in one window, and google in another.

You can pass it with closed eyes. If not, don't worry cause you can retake it after 7 days. Good luck!

Hi kkrigsby,

Thank you for your response. I called BON and they said that when the system updated my application, it wasn't able to detect my payment with Pearson Vue. That's why it showed a second "Registered with Pearson Vue" cause I registered but not paid. But I did pay. She said she'll file a report and everything should be fine. So yeah, it was a glitch in their system. Thanks, I hope I pass... fingers crossed.

Schizoh,

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the Texas' website, and their online application status webpage. The right side will show the requirements. And it's going to show "REGISTERED WITH PEARSON VUE" regardless if you have registered or not. The left side shows the date that you accomplished/submitted the requirement. If it doesn't show a date (meaning it's blank), that means you haven't accomplished/submitted that particular requirement yet.
