How many questions did you answer when you passed NCLEX?
Dern nursey 25 mins?? were you that confident?
Not necessarily. At that point, I figured I either knew it or I didn't. All through school they drilled into us that our first choice is most often the correct one. I finally started to believe them after a semesters worth of test reviews. I always wound being one short of an A or one short of a B on a really hard test. Looking back, there was always one or two that I had right and then changed because I had tried to read too much into a question and the options; instead of picking the best, most straight-forward answer. That used to make me so mad. If I was that close, I wanted the higher grade.
FWIW, the NCLEX seemed a lot easier and straight-forward than the tests I had in school. Unfortunately, the tests that seemed straight-forward were always the ones I did terribly on. Hence the :stone feeling after I walked out of the test center. I was only on PA BON's website about . . . . . a thousand times in forty-eight hours until I saw my RN license number. What a relief that was . . . . .

Yeah that's true
took my exam last may6, the pc stopped at 75.. what are my chances of passing? it's been almost 4 weeks and i still havent got my result from my b.o.n which is saipan... the wait is killing me... i'm really frustrated! help! what shoudl i do?!
hello, how do you think you did? There are many myths that state that if the computer shuts off at 75 then you have passed, on the flip side i have heard that is you get all 265 questions then you will fail. All these are just that... myths there is no scientific method to determine whether you pass according to the amt of ? offered. The computer determines whether you are "safe" to be a RN based purely on your responses to scenarios given during the test. Who are you with delegation, and priority ?'sThe computer will "give" you ?'s untilone out of two things occur...#1 the computer is 90% sure that you can deliver safe and effective care in a RN capacity(you pass), or #2 the computer is 90% sure that you can NOT give safe care(you fail). In the case of your results, unforunately unless your area has quick result, you are stuck with having to wait for the results, and most bons will not give you results over the phone.I hope that this info helps you
