I'm trying to decide how I can indicate on my resume that I've taken and passed NCLEX but not yet received my license from the state. Do you all think it would be appropriate to write it this way?
License & Certifications:
Registered Nurse - XX State Board of Nursing
NCLEX-RN passed January 3, 2014 - License pending
BLS for Healthcare Providers...... etc.
Any other suggestions? Help! Thank you!!!

Hey! Congratulations!!!
I am also in the same 'boat' as I got my quick results yesterday….Amazing!!! Finally!
Anyways, I don't think it is necessary to fret if you don't have the license number yet, as long as it is clear that you are licensed. You passed the NCLEX, and that is what counts! I definitely would not write 'license pending' because that leaves room for doubt. Keep it concise!

BTW, what state did you take your boards in? I looked at the office of professions website in my state (NY) and my name and license number are already listed (took the exam this past Monday).
Can't believe it's real lol

just indicate what license youre holding and in what state... without the "dates"..
